On June 22, Ambassador Nataša Marić attended a ceremony honoring Soviet fighters killed during World War II on French soil. A commemoration of fighters against Nazism was held on the Soviet military cemetery in Neuer-Saint-Martin. Apart from the Russian Ambassador Alexei Meshkov as the host, the event was attended by ambassadors or representatives of embassies and military delegations of Serbia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as officials of this municipality, department and region and veterans' associations. Along with the intonation of the Serbien anthem "Bože Pravde", the wreath was laid on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Paris by Ambassador Nataša Marić and Defense Attache Colonel Miroslav Nikolic.
