The third edition of the Paris Peace Forum was held from 11 to 13 November. This year the Forum was dedicated to the challenges regarding the process of building a better world in the post COVID era. The forum was held entirely in a digital format thanks to a specially designed platform. Numerous sessions were held on different topics such as importance of multilateralism, sustainable solutions in the fight against COVID 19, the role of banks for development in the post COVID era etc. The official ceremony was held on November 12 with the participation of a large number of heads of states and governments via video messages and the live adressing of the French President Emmanuel Macron, the President of Senegal Macky Hall, IMF Director Kristalina Georgieva and the President ot the European Council Charles Michel. The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić also participated in the Paris Peace Forum. In his video message he emphasised the question of what would be the wisest way to protect the world economy in a crisis caused by the current pandemic.
