Ambassador Nataša Marić attended lunch organized for a group of ambassadors accredited in France by the mayor of Neuilly-sur-Seine, Mr. Jean-Christophe Formantin. During the meeting opinions were exchanged on the current international situation. The Apostolic Nuncio and Ambassadors of Italy, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Lebanon, Armenia, Portugal, Canada and the Philippines also attended the meeting.

In regard to the celebration of Saint Sava on the 27th January, Ambassador Natasa Maric attended the solemn liturgy in the church of Saint Sava in Paris as well as the solemn traditional lunch.

On Thursday 26th January on the occasion of the Saint Sava Day the solemn ceremony took place at the Residence of the Serbian Ambassador in Paris. In an introductory speech Her Excellency Nataša Marić greeted the guests before the choirs of Serbian-speaking students in Paris presented their works.

On Thursday, March 17, Ambassador Nataša Marić opened an exhibition of naive painting from Kovačica. On the same occasion, she wished a welcome and successful work to the newly appointed Director of the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris, Mrs. Natali Popović Beljanski.

I would point to a few ongoing issues in my speech that refer to the competences of the Mechanism, namely, the possibility of serving the sentences passed by the ICTY and Mechanism in the Republic of Serbia, with the current practice of disabling early release of the sentenced persons as well as obligation of the Mechanism regarding protection of sentenced persons.

On Wednesday, April 28, a meeting between Ambassador Nataša Marić and HE Håkan Åkesson, Ambassador of Sweden, was held at the Residence of the Ambassador of Serbia in Paris. They exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest and expressed a desire to improve mutual co-operation.

On Tuesday, April 27 Ambassador Nataša Marić had a great pleasure to host the L'Opinion’s journalist Jean-Dominique Merchet, whom she informed about the success of our country in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, especially in terms of vaccination of citizens of Serbia and neighbouring countries, as well as with the basic foreign policy and economic priorities of Belgrade.

On Monday, 26 April Ambassador Nataša Marić had a phone call with Mr. Ghazi Gherairi, Tunisia's Ambassador to UNESCO and the International Organization of La Francophonie dedicated to the OIF Summit in Djerba and the cooperation between Serbia and Tunisia within this international organization.

The Mayor of the 15th Arrondissement Philippe Goujon hosted Ambassador Nataša Marić on Wednesday, April 22. Mr Goujon and HE Marić exchanged views on the current epidemiological situation and projects of common interest.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić talked today via a video link with the representatives of the delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by the Head of the Mission, Jan Kees Martijn. The interlocutors concluded that Serbia's main goal remains to preserve the hard-earned reputation of a fiscally secure country, as well as to continue with a responsible fiscal policy so that public debt does not exceed 60 per cent of GDP, whereby Serbia continues to work on further economic growth.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today with the Regional Director of the World Health Organisation for Europe Hans Kluge, to discuss cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as cooperation in improving health care in our country and other joint activities.

On Wednesday, April 14 Ambassador Natasa Marić attended the opening of the exhibition "Our History, Our Memories" in the Château Vincennes near Paris organized by the Service historique de la Défense in Vincennes. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selakovic stated today that Pristina further persisted in its campaign of hatred against the Serbian people, which was most drastically seen in the unfounded accusations of mass rapes and genocide.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selakovic warned, at the United Nations Security Council meeting, that the political extremism among Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija was not decreasing, but on the contrary, was becoming stronger. 

On Thursday, April 8 at the invitation of Senator Mickael Vallet, Ambassador Nataša Marić presented the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia to the group of senators members of the Friendship Group France-Western Balkans in the Senate and gave an overview of bilateral relations between France and Serbia. In addition to Senator Valea, the meeting was also attended by Senators Alain Richard, Olivier Cadic, Laure Darcos, Jean-Yves Leconte and Sébastian Meurant. 

Ambassador Nataša Marić had a meeting with Senator Marta de Cidrac, President of the Friendship Group France-Western Balkans in the Senate on Tuesday, April 6. During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on economic and inter-parliamentary cooperation between France and Serbia. Special attention was paid to the process of European integration of the Republic of Serbia. 

In the Residency of the Serbian Ambassador in Paris HE Ambassador Nataša Marić hosted MP Živka Park, the Chair of Parliamentary Friendship Group France-Serbia in the National Assembly. They exchanged views on the current political situation and future cooperation between France and Serbia.

At the 42nd EUTELSAT IGO Assembly of Parties which took place on March 24th and 25th 2021, Mrs Ivana Stankovic, Minister Counsellor from the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Paris was elected at the Presidency of the EUTELSAT IGO Assembly of Parties for two-year term. The representative of Switzerland, Mrs Viviane Arni was elected Vice-President of the Assembly.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic made a statement on the occasion of marking the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the NATO aggression.

The oldest and the largest French daily, Le Figaro, published an article by Ambassador Natasa Maric about inherited Francophone values among Serbs and Serbia's aspirations to improve its status in Francophonie into full membership.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic participated today in the commemoration of the Remembrance Day of 17 March 2004 - Pogrom in Kosovo and Metohija. He said that exactly 17 years ago, a pogrom took place in Kosovo and Metohija, and that pogrom surpassed all other crimes.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union, Ambassador Sam Fabrizi, to discuss the continuation of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges in the mass vaccination process. 

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with a delegation of the French employer federation MEDEF, whose companies operate in many countries around the world, but also on the Serbian market, and assessed that such a large delegation proves interest in investing in our country.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selakovic said today that the fight against all forms of crime was a top priority of the Serbian Government and an integral part of the EU accession process.

On Wednesday, 24 February Ambassador Nataša Marić met journalist and writer Mr. Jean-Christophe Buisson, Deputy Director of Figaro Magazine. During the meeting opinions were exchanged on the current socio-political topics. 

The Ambassador Nataša Marić attended the 113th extraordinary Session of the Permanent Council of the Francophonie (CPF) held on 22 February 2021. Following the meeting, the OIF announced that Mr. Geoffroi Monpetit (Cananda) has been appointed as a new Administrator of the OIF.

On February 18, the Ambassador Nataša Marić met with retired Colonel Jacques Hogard. During the meeting points of view were exchanged on current topics of international affairs.  

The Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church elected His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana, PhD, as the new Serbian Patriarch, in its convocation in Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava in Belgrade on 18 February 2021.

On Wednesday, 17 February 2021 the Monaco Economic Board in collaboration with the Embassy of Serbia in France and Monaco as well as with the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia has organized a video conference „Business Destination: Serbia“ at which companies from Monaco were presented with the investment opportunities in Serbia.

On the occasion of our Statehood day the great friend of Serbia Jean-Paul Bled, Professor Emeritus of contemporary History at the University Paris-Sorbonne and Foreign member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts was decorated with the Golden Medal for merits by the president of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Aleksandar Vučić.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met earlier today with the Ambassador of the Republic of France Jean-Louis Falconi, to discuss bilateral relations in the light of last week's visit to Paris and the meeting with President Emmanuel Macron.

President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Army Aleksandar Vucic attended a demonstration of capabilities of one part of Serbian Army units in the "Rastko Nemanjić" barracks in Pancevo. On this occasion, President Vucic stated that Serbia was ready to continue the EU-facilitated dialogue with Pristina at any point, while respecting also the position of the United States as well as the positions of Russia and China.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić is staying on a working visit to Paris, where he met with the President of the Republic of France Emmanuel Macron, to discuss Belgrade-Priština relations, Serbia's European path and the related support of France, as well as bilateral relations.

Communication between the Presidents of Serbia and France, Aleksandar Vucic and Emmanuel Macron, is very frequent, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic this evening, adding that it was a great thing that the President of Serbia, even amid the current international developments marked by the Covid-19 epidemic, got to meet or talk on the phone with world leaders.

At the invitation of the students’ Club Raymond Poincaré of the Student Association Theatrum Mundi Heip of the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science, Journalism and Media -HEIP, on Tuesday, January 26 Ambassador Nataša Marić gave an overview of the Franco-Serbian relationship. 

Serbia's foreign policy positions are naturally being adjusted to the new developments at the international level, but our foreign policy priorities have not changed in a long time. Our top and most important interest is to preserve good-neighbourly relations and stability and peace in the region and, in the same context, to find a peaceful and just solution to the problems in Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said in an interview with Politika daily.

A Memorandum of Understanding for the Belgrade Metro project was signed at the Palace of Serbia on Friday, January 22. This important document was signed by Minister of Finance Mr. Siniša Mali, Alstom Vice President Mr. Philippe Delleur, Egis Rail CEO Mr. Olivier Bouvart, the representative of company Power China She Zidije and the director of enterprise Beogradski metro i voz Mr. Stanko Kantar.

On Thursday, 21 January Ambassador Nataša Marić met with the President of the French Committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature Ms. Maud Lelièvre. During the meeting, they exchanged the views regarding ecological questions, as well as on French priorities in the field of environmental protection in the light of the upcoming World Congress on Biodiversity, which will be held in September 2021 in Marseille.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabić talked today with the ambassadors of the Quint countries and the Head of the European Union Delegation about the continuation of reforms on Serbia's path to membership in the European Union.

On Thursday, January 14 Ambassador Nataša Marić had a meeting with MP Liliana Tanguy, Vice President of the Commission for the European Affairs in the French National Assembly.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic received today the first vaccine against the coronavirus made by Pfizer company, at the Torlak Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera.

On Saturday, 19 December President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić spoke on the phone with the President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, and in a long and friendly conversation wished him, above all, good health and a speedy recovery. 

The Serbian government stated that at a meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Council between Serbia and the EU held today, the overall progress achieved in Serbia's accession negotiations so far was commended, as well as the adoption of an improved enlargement methodology that should accelerate Serbia's EU accession process.

On Monday, 14 December a virtual conference was held with MEDEF representatives in order to present the business potential in the Serbian market and to improve mutual economic cooperation. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic had talks today via video link with Head of EU Delegation in Serbia Sem Fabrizi and Ambassadors of the EU Member States.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Paris Agreement, Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Barbara Pompili, Minister for the Ecological Transition, chaired a virtual conference to take stock of and reflect on what has been achieved since 2015 and the agreement’s prospects, along with several leading figures. The event was held on Saturday, 12 December and was live streamed from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. 

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has held a video meeting today with Michael Roth, the Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office. They have discussed the current epidemiological situation in the two countries and the EU, as well as Serbia’s European integration process.

On the occasion of 10 December, the international Human Rights Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia reaffirms its commitment to the principles and values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted on this day in 1948.

On Wednesday, 9 December Ambassador Nataša Marić met the journalist and writer Jean-Christophe Buisson, Deputy Director of Figaro Magazine. During the meeting opinions were exchanged on the current socio-political topics and the cooperation between France and Serbia.

On Tuesday, 8 December HE Ambassador Nataša Marić participated in the videoconference organized by the Group of Francophone Ambassadors in the presence of writer Ms Leïla Slimani, Personal Representative of French President Emmanuel Macron for the Francophonie. During the meeting the views were exchanged on the importance of pluralism and the French language with emphasis on the role of writers in preserving linguistic difference.

The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today the ambassadors of EU Member States accredited to Serbia and the Head of the EU Delegation Sem Fabrizi in the Palace of Serbia, to talk to them about topics such as dynamics of the accession negotiations between Serbia and EU, stability in the region, regional projects, as well as the Economic and Investment Plan presented by the European Commission together with the Enlargement package.

On Wednesday, 2 December in the Residency of the Serbian Ambassador in Paris HE Ambassador Nataša Marić hosted MP Živka Park, the Chair of Parliamentary Friendship Group France and Serbia in the National Assembly. They exchanged views on the current political situation and future cooperation between France and Serbia.

On Wednesday, December 2, Ambassador Nataša Marić together with the colleagues from Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belgium, Lebanon and Greece, attended a meeting with the mayor of 7 arrondissement, Mme Rachida Dati, during which they exchanged views on current socio-political topics.

French Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in charge of Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness Franck Riester visited Belgrade on November 26 where he met with the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Serbian Minister of Finance Siniša Mali. During Minister Riester’s visit an intergovernmental agreement was signed on cooperation in the field of implementation of the most important infrastructure projects in Serbia – construction of the subway in Belgrade and modernization of Serbian electricity distribution networks.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia HE Nikola Selaković participated in the Ministerial Conference of the International Organization of the Francophony which was held via video link on November 24 and 25. Minister Selaković presented the previous engagement and priorities of the Republic of Serbia in this organisation.

On the occasion of the passing away of the Serbian Patriarch Mr. Irinej a holy liturgy and memorial service was served on Sunday, November 22, in the Church of Saint Sava in Paris. The service was attended by Ambassador Nataša Marić and her husband.

On Thursday, November 19 HE Ambassador Nataša Marić payed a visit to the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris, where she visited the premises which after the renovation, got a new shine accompanied by architect Mr Tomislav Garevski and Acting Director of the Center Mrs Marija Nestorović. 

On Wednesday, November 18 Ambassador Nataša Marić participated in a meeting organized by the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), where she presented the policy of the Republic of Serbia within this Organisation. 

The third edition of the Paris Peace Forum was held from 11 to 13 November. This year the Forum was dedicated to the challenges regarding the process of building a better world in the post COVID era. 

On the occasion of the commemoration of the Armistice Day, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić and Defense Attaché Colonel Dejan Milosavljević laid a wreath at the Serbian Cemetery of Thiais in the Paris region. Father Slaviša served the commemoration in honor of fallen soldiers. Due to the emergency sanitary situation in France, a limited number of representatives of the Serbian Diaspora’s Associations attended the ceremony. 

Ambassador Nataša Marić visited the St. Sava Church in Paris on Tuesday, November 10 and met with the elder of the Church Father Nikola Škrbić and Father Slaviša Šanjić. During the meeting opinions were exchanged on a significant number of current topics.

President Aleksandar Vučić and H.S.H. Prince Albert II attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Monaco Economic Board, represented respectively by Mr Marko Čadež and Mr Guillaume Rose. The Memorandum was signed on 7 October.

On October 7, 2020 the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić presented the Sovereign Prince with the decoration of the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a scarf during his official visit to Serbia.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco paid an official visit to the Republic of Serbia on October 7 and 8, 2020. 

On Friday, July 10, 2020, the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, attended the Summit held in Paris in the form of a video conference. The summit was organized on the initiative of French President Emanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and is a continuation of the Summit held in Berlin on 29 April last year.

At the invitation of French President Emanuel Macron, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić paid a working visit to Paris on 9 and 10 July 2020. During the meeting between the two presidents, opinions were exchanged on current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as on the most important topics of the international relations.

On June 22, Ambassador Nataša Marić attended a ceremony honoring Soviet fighters killed during World War II on French soil. 

On Tuesday, May 19, Ambassador Nataša Marić participated in a video conference organized for the ambassadors accredited in France on the topic of gender equality. French Secretary of State Ms Marlène Schiappa presented the priorities of French government in this field. 

On Wednesday, April 29, Ambassador Natasa Maric participated in a video conference dedicated to the holding of the Third Paris Peace Forum, which is scheduled for November 11-13, 2020. The conference was opened by the Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, while the participants were addressed by Justin Vaïsse, Director General of the Paris Peace Forum, and Rémy Rioux, Director General of the French Development Agency.

On Tuesday, April 21, the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the seventh special humanitarian flight from Paris Roissy CDG airport with 140 of Serbian nationals on board. 

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia wishes a happy Easter to all Orthodox Christians. 

On Thursday, April 16, the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the sixth special humanitarian flight from Paris Roissy CDG airport with 142 of Serbian nationals on board. 

On Tuesday, April 2, the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the fifth special humanitarian flight from Paris Roissy CDG airport with 71 of our nationals on board. 

On Thursday, April 2, the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the fourth special humanitarian flight from Paris Roissy CDG airport with 98 our nationals on board. 

On Tuesday March 24, the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the third special humanitarian flight from Paris Roissy CDG airport. Among the 145 passengers there were 143 adults and 2 babies all of which were our nationals who were stranded in the international transit area and public zone of Paris airport. 

On Monday, March 23, the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the second special humanitarian flight from Paris Roissy CDG airport. Among the 145 passengers there were 144 adults and a baby all of which were our nationals who were stranded in the international transit area and public zone of Paris airport.

On Sunday afternoon, March 22, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić visited approximately 200 of our nationals who found themselves stranded in the transit zone and public zone of Paris CDG airport. She spent several hours discussing their concerns following the emergency they were in, talking about the problems they may have encountered and the possibilities of finding suitable responses. She emphasized that the Embassy of Serbia in Paris along with the Government of the Republic of Serbia was working on adequate solutions for this complex situation with which we were confronted.

On Friday March 20, Air Serbia chartered a special humanitarian flight thanks to which the Serbian nationals who, following the introduction of exceptional measures in the two countries, found themselves in the transit zone at the Paris Roissy CDG airport. Thanks to this flight, 103 adults and 3 babies were able to be return to Serbia.

Madam Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, Jadranka Joksimović was visiting Paris at the invitation of Madam Secretary of State in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in charge of European Affairs, Amélie de Montchalin with whom she met on March 3 at the Quai d'Orsay. 

On Thursday 13 February, during the reception which took place at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Paris on the occasion of the Serbian Statehood Day, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić presented the Order of Sretenje of the Second Degree to the Mayor of Jausiers, Lucien Gilly in recognition of the particular merit, nobility and humanity expressed towards the Serbian people during the First World War by the small town of Provence, that the President of the Republic of Serbia awarded by decree.

On Thursday, February 13, on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, a reception was held at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Paris. 

On Tuesday 11 February, at the invitation of Serbian organizers and artists, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić attended the inauguration of the Art Capital exhibition, which traditionally takes place at the Grand Palais.

On Wednesday February 5, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić met with the Director of the Louvre, Jean-Luc Martinez. During the meeting, views were exchanged on the possibilities for cooperation between Serbian museums and this prestigious French institution.

At the invitation of Mrs. Živka Park, elected from Val d'Oise but also President of the France-Serbia Friendship Group at the National Assembly, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić attended the reception of New Year wishes in the Val d'Oise department On January 27th.

On Saturday January 25th, at the invitation of the Serbian Diaspora Association, the Union of Serbs of France, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić attended the 16th Saint-Sava’s ball on the river Seine.

On Friday January 24th, the solemn ceremony took place on the occasion of the Saint Sava at the Residence of the Serbian Ambassador in Paris. At the beginning of the ceremony, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić greeted her guests in her introductory speech, then the choirs of Serbian-speaking students in Paris presented their work in songs.

A formal dinner was held in honor of Nobel prize winner in literature Mr. Peter Handke at the Residence of the Ambassador of Serbia in Paris.

On Tuesday January 21st 2020, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić presented the credentials to HSH the Sovereign of Monaco Prince Albert II.

On Wednesday January 15th, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić met with Senator Christian Cambon, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and the Armed Forces. During the meeting, views on bilateral relations between France and Serbia were exchanged.

On Tuesday, January 14th, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić attended the preview of the film „UNIQUE - AN ARTIST ONE PLACE A CONCERT“, documentary devoted to the life and artistic work of the famous Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulović.

On Tuesday January 14th, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić along with the other ambassadors accredited to Paris, attended the reception organized by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Le Drian, at the Quai d'Orsay on the occasion of the wishes for New Year.

On Tuesday January 14th, Her Excellency Ambassador Mrs. Nataša Marić attended the traditional New Year's Reception, organized by the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Richard Ferrand, for the ambassadors accredited to France. Prime Minister Mr. Edouard Philipe and a large number of deputies were also present at the reception in the salons of the Hôtel de Lassay.

On Thursday January 9th, Her Excellency Ambassador Natasa Maric met with Senator Damien Regnard. During the meeting interlocutors exchanged views on bilateral relations between France and Serbia, as well as the role of the Serbian diaspora in France.

In addition to many Serbs from Paris and other regions of France, Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić with her husband were also present at the solemn liturgy which took place on Christmas Day, January 7th at the church of Saint-Sava in Paris.
